What Does this blood And STD Panel Test Result Mean?

So last week I got a blood test, STD Panel test and had to pee in a cup. I came back healthy as can be, clear of all stds but they said my pee test showed I had a UTI. I had absolutely no symptoms of a UTI but took the medicine anyways. LIQUID Amoxicillin because I can t swallow a pill. I took it for about 4 days and accidentally skipped day 5 then went on to day 6 and 7. Day 7 I woke up with a very sore Vagina. Swollen clitoral hood, swollen labia manora and its very painful and sore. Sometimes it itches but not really for the most part. No discharge at all either. WHATS WRONG WITH ME? Could it be from the amoxicillin? Could it be the UTI? Yeast infection? Please help!

Hello,

Given your situation using antibiotics, I would suspect a yeast infection. You can have burning, soreness, and irritation with a yeast infection, and it often happens after using antibiotics because the antibiotics kill the "good" bacteria in your vagina and allow yeast to grow uncontrolled. There is also often itching and usually has a thick, white discharge, but not always.

I would suggest either getting evaluated by your doctor to confirm this diagnosis, and then getting a fluconazole pill from your doctor, or using clotrimazole cream intravaginally to treat this infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
